TERM ONE 2018 Week 6 ' OUTDOOR EDUCATION THROUGHOUT WEEK 6 '

We are toiling and breaking the soil in preparation for planting.

Our newly planted seeds should grow into small plants (seedlings) before we transfer them into the gardens.

Zumba is a fun alternative to our outdoor sports - the weather does not always look promising!
Swimming at Totara Park. A great start to our swimming session next week - we are all looking forward to it!

Bushwalk is the hightlight of our School Picnic on Thursday.

We are making the most of the big playground, the huge slide and the flying fox at the end of our bushwalk.

Thank you Mrs Michelle Pratt and Mrs Lena Manuel for all your support on Picnic Day 2018.
We would also like to thank Miss Barns Graham and TA Tauva for taking us to the Clendon Community Library.

  1. WOW.... an exciting week for Tumanako 25! With so many learning opportunities and events that happened for you this week! I enjoyed my time taking you to the Public Library on Friday... really impressed with Tumanako 25 using their PRIDE values, when it came to walking and from the library ... certainly you ensured you were being safe around our busy roads! I will post some photos onto my blog of our trip to the library and send to your teacher, too.

  2. Great learning in the gardens. Learning about how our seedlings should grow to small plants before we transfer them into the gardens. it's good to see Tuamanako 25 enjoying their trip to Totara Park.
